If you are a devout foodie, having dinner at The James Beard House is a must. I've been fortunate enough to be behind the scenes with Chef Joanne Bondy at 3 dinners held here, and they were all evenings I'll never forget.
Noted chefs from around the country are invited to come to the actual home that James Beard lived in and prepare a dinner for up to 100 guests. Keep in mind this is a NYC townhome so it's a very intimate experience, and as the chefs are cooking guests are coming in and out of the kitchen. The dinners sell out very quickly so it's best to make your reservations as far in advance as possible.
